DragonBoard® is a non-combustible magnesium oxide (MgO) structural panel engineered for fire-rated construction. Designed for subfloor, wall, and sheathing applications, it provides a durable alternative to traditional concrete and lightweight concrete systems in rated assemblies. DragonBoard installs directly over steel or wood framing and can be cut on site using standard carpentry tools, helping streamline installation and reduce construction schedules.
Tested in accordance with ASTM E119 and listed in UL fire-rated assemblies, it delivers both fire resistance and structural performance. The panel is also water resistant and unaffected by cure times or weather delays. Free of asbestos, formaldehyde, and VOCs, DragonBoard is well suited for multifamily, hospitality, modular, and other commercial construction projects.
